Epic Pale Ale is the brewing company's flagship product. Sold all over the world, brewed in Auckland, loved by countless beer aficionados. The simple malt bill and hop schedule produces an awesomely complex hop aroma and taste. Best enjoyed fresh!!
This kit contains all of the grains, hops and yeast required to make a clone of an internationally famous beer.
You will need a basic All Grain brewery setup or a BIAB setup to use this recipe. The instructions below are for the standard All Grain methods but you can easily translate to BIAB.
This recipe assumes a brewhouse efficiency of 70%.

Depending on stock and hop availability at time of ordering we may have to substitute.
All recipes Contain Yeast nutrient and finings in either the 20min, 15 min or 10 min addition.

ABV: 5.5%
Grains:
4.80 kg Gladfields American Ale Malt
0.48 kg Gladfield Gladiator
0.29 kg Gladfiled ight Crystal
Mash in at 73.1C with 14.71L water, rest for 60 min at 66.7C.
Sparge with 12.22L water at 75.6C
Preboil size should be 26.29L.
75 minute Boil
Hops:
15g Cascade at 75 min boil
20g Cascade at 30 min boil
40g Cascade at 10 min boil
45g Cascade at 0 min boil
45g Cascade Steep/Whirlpool 10 min
125g Cascade Dry hop 4 days
